From grocery store signs to Ferraris.

Bailey Clayton is an automotive sign painter based in Temecula, California.
He started Clayton Sign Painting in 2020. The lettering gigs came first. Those years, he says, turned out to be the preparation for painting cars the way he does now.
Today the work runs from shop trucks to historic race cars, and every job is designed for that vehicle. Sometimes it means recreating a historical livery. Sometimes a story and an old photograph.
When you see it in person, you realize a craftsman actually laid every bit of paint on with a brush, taking the time to make the design belong on the car.
